Better Thinking

the Trail_
Founder and executive coaching for Seattle tech leaders. Join me on Pacific Northwest hikes to solve your toughest challenges.
The Walk
Walking engages your brain differently than sitting. Research shows that lateral thinking and problem-solving improve measurably when you move.
The Environment
The Pacific Northwest trails provide natural rhythm, perspective, and a break from screens. This environment shifts conversations to what truly matters.
The Safety
Walking together creates psychological safety. You're partners on a journey, not opponents in a meeting room. Vulnerability emerges naturally.

Coaching from Someone Who's Already Been There
"I've been where you are: shipping products on impossible timelines, managing reorganizations, hiring and firing. All sessions are confidential."
What Clients Say
Field Reports"The hikes forced me to slow down and actually listen to myself. Marc helped me see a pattern I've been running for five years."
"Talking through product strategy while walking felt natural in a way conference rooms never do. Best decision I made all quarter."
"Confidentiality matters. I needed to vent and think without worrying about office politics. Marc created that space."
Common Questions
Where do we hike?
Hikes will happen on the east side of Seattle between North Bend, Issaquah, and Snoqualmie Pass (or custom based on agreement). We can also do a virtual call where we both commit to get outside to 'walk and talk' during our call.
How fit do I need to be?
If you can walk for 90 minutes, you're fine. We set the pace together. This is about conversation, not cardio.
Are sessions confidential?
100%. As an ICF certified coach, I adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines. The trail is often more private than a glass-walled conference room.
